Residence

As a students at Macewan you have two choices for living. You can rent a room in a house/apartment building anywhere in Edmonton, or you can live in Residence. I strongly recommend that you live in Residence. Residence is a large 13 floor building owned by MacEwan. Everyone who lives in the building is a student at MacEwan. It is a good idea to live in Residence because it helps you meet friends. It will be difficult for you to get used to living in the big city and making a lot of new friends that live in the same building as you will help you to be happy and not feel lonely. Plus, you will be living right on the University campus so you will be close to all the University buildings you need to go to. The residence has a pool table, a ping-pong table, satellite TV and a giant screen TV for video games. The residence is a two minute walk from the university swimming pool and gym. Val and I and the students stayed the night in the residence building when we visited Edmonton on our way to to Ottawa. Trudy and Stephanie are living in Residence. there is a Tim Hortons right across the street. There are many restaurants, stores within a two minute walk.

Below are some pictures of us having fun in the residence.

Here is a virtual tour of the Residence Building. You can see 360 degree tours of a 2 bedroom suite, a bachelor suite, the lobby and the convienance store. You select the virtual tour you want in tht top right of the screen.
